    SANDANISTA

25th May 2006 – Cut and Colour 6.15pm @ Sandanista 109 Chapel St, Windsor; hair stylist Daniel
I’ve made this appointment 1 month in advance. I have waited for 45 minutes for my hair cut and colour…hmm not happy! Daniel was not happy with me as well cuz I made a fuss on how long I have to wait for my turn. He said sorry to me 4 times but in the end I‘ve cooled down abit and said “yeah it looks good; worth waiting after all”
And I paid additional $42 for the hair cut but free $100 hair colour (and I had my hair coloured black).
To get my money worth, I have booked myself for a free massage and treatment next week!!! Better make full use of the voucher before it expires… :)

    The story behind the voucher…
I bought a voucher from Sandanista ages ago and the reason behind me buying this voucher is because on one fine day when I was walking along chapel street and this girl approached me by asking where I got my hair cut… well I answered her, “I got my hair done at overseas”…then she showed me this invitation card and telling me that this special hair package worth $728 is now only $79.90 and I can even bring my friend along for a hair treatment and blow dry bla bla bla and the list goes on.. . After listening to her talking non stop and telling me it’s a really good deal, and yes…for the sake of shutting her up I bought the voucher… stupid ME!

    Lesson learned
Never let anyone talk you into buying any prepaid vouchers knowing that it will not benefit you in anything or eventually you will forget that you have a voucher that you’ve paid 2 months ago.

DJ’s comment on the hair cut – “Ok la… you look like my friend’s sister”…tiu…

    Good Luck DJ!

Tomorrow DJ will be taking his driving test in order for him to convert his M’sian driver’s license. I find it weird that S’poreans do not need to take the test and they can convert it directly. why la?!?!? because they can drive better than us Malaysians? Even if you hold a European or American drivers license you don’t need to take the test but duhhhh they drive the opposite side. where’s the logic?
I’ll pray really hard for DJ to pass and then we can go straight to the bank to get a loan to buy our car…We are sick of being ripped off by the public transport system!

    Moi’s bling

“Sorry, I had to remove the photo cuz DJ is paranoid that someone will chop off my finger”

    Yes we are engaged!

After long awaited for this ring to be ordered from New York, DJ was supposed to do something “romantic” when he proposed.

Eventually we waited for 6 weeks and felt the excitement is no longer there anymore.
I guess both of us are not the romantic type of people.

When my work colleague saw the ring, the first thing they ask was “how did he proposed?” and I answered, “He didn’t… he just gave me the ring”

    Thanks Dear :)

The reason why I need a DISHWASHER!!!

Based on the photo shown above, I think I have a very good and valid reason why I need a dishwasher when I move out from this apartment. Every time when DJ cooks, he will not wash up after food preparations. In between his cooking, he will then use clean utensils, bowls etc and after that he will chuck it to the existing pile of dishes.

See, If I was to cook, I will make sure before I start cooking, the wash basin will be clean and emptied so later I can wash up all the dirty utensils and dishes that were used during the cooking period and before serving dinner I will do another wash so that I have an empty spot to put the dirty dishes after dinner.

The best thing about me cooking is I have to wash up everything and when DJ cooks he only cooks but no washing. Do you see the fairness in this??? Sometimes he can come with an example such as “when your mom cooks, do you see your dad wash up?” okay fine I got nothing to say but seriously when DJ cook, I am expected to wash up 10 fork & spoons, 5 plates, 2 pots, 3 cooking utensils, and the list goes on before dinner is served… wah lau he thinks he is working in a industrial kitchen where there is an industrial dishwasher! I think before I turn 30 my hands will look like a 60 yrs old woman. Seriously this saga happens every night and the best thing is, the meal is cooked for only 2 people- Me & DJ
