    24

In less than 24 hours I will be on the plane going home to see my family and friends.
I feel bad leaving DJ alone in Melbourne but am sure he will find his way to entertain himself while I’m away. :)

DJ! Better behave while I’m away…kekeke… Mwah!

    Another busy weekend

Friday night we had after work drinks at The Apartment. We went to LingNam for dinner and stuffed ourselves with 9 dishes for 8 people. Then after dinner we head back to The Apartment again to say hi to the rest of the gang. Surprisingly the music was good on that night. We didn’t stay long tho and went home early. Is 11pm early?

I was damn exhausted by the time we reach home. I didn’t even manage to finish an episode of The Family Guy.

    Busy Sunday
We went to KatsuDon & MonkeyKing’s place for lunch.
MasterDragon called us last minute to organize yum cha but we have set our rules with him – first come first serve dude. While I’m away, DJ will catch up with him again to pass him his belated birthday present.

DJ & MonkeyKing went to hunt for any bargains on snow gears around Melbourne while and KatsuDon & I went to GPO to look at some wedding dresses at Lisa Ho & Wayne Cooper.

There was no size 6 available for me to try on at Lisa Ho- damn it! But the sales assistant said that usually their customer who normally wears a size 8 will go for a 6 meaning I will have to go for a size 4?

I tried this dress at Wayne Cooper. It’s ok but the feeling is not like “love at first sight”

Then we went to Stellini Melbourne as well and guess what?
I THINK I FOUND THE W-DRESS. The design of the dress is kind of similar to the other dress I tried on at Jenny Bannister except Stellini can give me a better deal and it’s 100% pure silk.
The dress is made to order and I can either op for a train hem or just normal straight hem – I like flexible services. Should I have beading at the bust area or just plain? I’m fickle minded therefore I give myself ample of time to think about it till December where I have to put in my order. It takes about 3 months to get it made…

    also…

I bought my phat pant from Capital 17. Now I need a big puffa jacket to go with this pant.

    WilliamEL’s 1st birthday

Last Saturday we got invited to a 1 year old birthday party.

In my whole life I don’t think I ever had a birthday party with 100 blue balloons.

DJ got told off by the birthday boy’s dad for eating cup cakes cuz it was actually for the kids…hahaha…
The cup cakes actually looks a bit creepy…[like princess melyssa]

Nice looking mini fruit tarts but I didn’t like it after the first bite. I thought it would be custard instead of fresh cream.

DJ & I bought William a blue Teddy Bear chair from Ikea. Lovely!

Overall it was the most tiring birthday party we ever attended.
I crashed straight away after we got home.

    Doug

I’ve got a new friend called Doug. Doug is a pimple that is now sitting on my check. Doug is huge!

Mom said when I go back next week, we will be taking a happy family portrait but I told her that Doug might still be around. She met Doug when we were video conferencing yesterday night at home.

Me: Hey mom, this is Doug [pointing at the pimple]

    Mom:Aiyor… what happen?

Me: I really dunno ler. From no where all of sudden Doug just pop up.

Mom:Oh ya… we are going to snap a family portrait when you come back ok.

    Me: -_- sure

Mann I wish I could just kill Doug! Arghh!

If you are reading this post and thinking what who the hell is Doug, click here and do a search on Doug.

    Sunny day

Such a beautiful day to stay outside but too bad I’m stucked inside the office :( .

Met up with GiaMin for lunch today. We went to Momotaro Ramen, Bridge Road and I ordered my usuals’ – tonkatsu ramen :)
So happened GM is also going back to KL around the same time as me for friends wedding. She was also in the same situation as me, all-stressed-out on what to wear.

I paid off and cancelled this evil card. Did you know that Visa stands for 666?

    EvilDevil

Feeling bloated and irritated with the 2 pimples that popped out this morning. I have to put a stop on those wicked Freddos that I ate at work.

    Thank you Friendster
I was browsing friend’s profile in friendster and I came across this friend of mine where we used to study in the same primary school . It’s been 14 years since we last contacted each other. I also just found out that she got married recently. Consider we are luckiy that now there’s all this virtual sites where you can post your own profile and actually get to search for friends that you’ve lost contact. I love the virtual world!

Yesterday my blog went hay-wired and I tried to fix it while I’m at work. I know I shouldn’t blog during work hours but it’s just too hard. My mind wasn’t focusing at all. Neways, I found out the cause of the hay wired. At times it’s frustrating when I’m managing my own site but I take it as a challenge.
At least now I understand what’s HTML. I even called DJ to come pick me up from work so that I can reach home faster to look at the problem. It took me 5 hours to blardy fix it. It’s all good now *fingers crossed* I hope.

    Busy Weekend

Today I’m feeling so not in the mood to work. Maybe it’s because I’ll be going back to Tanah Melayu very soon.

I had a busy weekend which was good. We met up with the gang on Friday nite for drinks at 3 below and after dinner, we adjourn to FM bar for karaoke. It was meant to be a 3 hours session but it ended up 5 hours instead. DJ actually sings! I of cuz did not sing but was happily sipping away some seol joong mae plum liquor.
Now we all know who the mic hoggers are…*wink wink*
    Sunday:
We went for yum cha with LL at New Royal Garden, Syndal. Delicious egg tarts…yummy…
Later DJ dropped us off at Bridge Rd and LL got some retail therapy fixed but not me. I was tempted to buy this pair of heels from Nude in cobalt blue but luck was not on my side, Bugger- no size 36!
Neways, I’ll see how it goes, if I’m still thinking about it over this weekend I might just go to Cactus Jam during lunch time and get my shoe addict fix…
    [ I know I’m BAD but I can’t help it and it’s SAD]

Dress shopping- part 3: Mission accomplish

    Woohoo…

I’ve bought the dress for JL’s wedding *feeling relief*

I sent my purse back to Furla cuz the clasp was broken. The purse was only 4 months old. Anyway the store manager said I will get a replacement of the same wallet but I was concern that this problem might occured again. So I asked for an exchange and top up another $250 for a patent leather croc tote bag.

Luckily I got a pair of shoe that I can match with all the above. I hope this scholl party feet- heel cushions will help a bit. I wore this pair of heels only once and the experience was damn torturing.
    Am glad that it’s over.

DJ’s reaction: shaked his head [no eye see ah!]

    Happy Birthday Bro!

    stay healthy & happy always.

    Sweet Friday

After 45 minutes on hold I finally got a table for 2 in October to dine at Fifteen, Melbourne for our belated anniversary celebration.
Not sure about DJ but I am very excited. I’ll try to snap as many photos as possible and also try to get a sign off autograph from Tobie Puttock. Will blog about this talk of the town after the 14th October…
I wish I could meet Jamie Oliver in person.

We killed 2 birds with one stone yesterday. Did our 3 week’s old laundry and washed our Black Vox.
Next is to clean our tremendously filthy bathroom.

All of sudden, DJ has this craving for Krispy Kreme and we drove all the way to Narre Warren to buy 2 boxes of super duper sweet donuts. Honestly speaking, it’s really not my type of donut. I still prefer the old skool Dunkin Donuts or even the donuts in Pasar Malams’ taste better. The whole journey back and forth took us a good 2.5 hours.

    these donuts are Evil…
