    Happy birthday Lovely Lynn

Today is a public holiday in Victoria -AnzDay as well as LovelyLynn’s birthday.
DJ and I will be attending LL’s birthday lunch at JamesSquireBrewhouse,Docklands.

LL, this photo is to remind you that I’ll be partying with you again in ArminVanBuuren’s WhiteParty.
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday and hope you day day stay happy and pretty :D

    Post 288

There are so many things to write about the KL trip but in the meantime I’ll write about whatever comes through my mind.
This is post no 288. The number sounds very good when it is translated in Chinese. Yes I’m an ah lian. My favourite no is 8. I am a bit superstitious when it comes to numbers. I tend to not rent properties that have number 4 in it. In Chinese it means die. So I’ll try my best to avoid if possible.

Did my nails today at HollywoodNails, TheGlen. I had refills done for my acrylic nails and it only cost me AUD$30. I got con for paying RM200 for my white tip French manicure that I did in NailParlour,1Utama. I realised that it’s actually much cheaper to get it done in Melbourne. Plus the equipment that are used are more advance. SK said my Frenchy nails looked really fake compared to the last time I did it in Vancouver.

I am a full on idiot for buying a pair of pumps that does not fit me. When I tried the pumps on was during the day so I reminded myself that my feet will shrink slightly when I’m back to Melbourne. Therefore I kept it to size 36 but now I think it’s the cut of the shoe that is different from the rest of the 36 I tried. Sigh…
So I went to the cobbler to enquire if he does shoe expanding and he does! Yay… at least I still go hope.
I’ll send the shoe to have it expand next week and hopefully I’ll be able to fit into it. Otherwise I will have to frame it up to remind me to never buy shoes whenever the weather is 38 degrees. :(

    Playground

On my second last day in KL, I caught up with an old friend whom I’ve not seen for 5 years- FunkZu.
I decided to go to Times-Square[TS] to check out Funk’s newly opened shop, Playground.

    shop.jpg

It was my first time stepping into TS. Yes, I’m felt a bit like kampung mari [come from the village]. I was amazed with the multiple level shopping mall which we can never get in Melbourne. The shops in TS is not as happening as the ones in KLCC. I think it’s like a combination of MidValley and SgWang.

A guy who loves LV as much as the Datins do.

Playground is located at a very secluded corner in level 6. Their customers are mostly regulars which are friends or friend’s of friend and serious shoppaholic dudes who are after brands that are not commonly found in the market.
Playground carries brands such as BAPE, Cloth, HeadPorter and a small suitcase filled with Majolica Marjoca make-ups.

I asked Funk how much are these be@rs sold for and he said it’s not for sale because it’s very limited. Apparently in the whole world only have less than 10 be@rs produced perdesign. But since I’m his friend, he can sell it to me at “friend friend” price for RM2,100. I said, No thanks :P

    Friday 13- Velvet Underground, KL

Last friday went to Velvet with KX,LK & JT [KX's boo].
Met up with Elle and her hubby together with their group of friends and we all partied together. Actually it looked more like a drinking marathorn with jugs of long islands teas that seems to automatically replenish by itself.
It’s been ages since I last step into Velvet.I remembered the last time I was in Velvet was on a wednesday night- mambo jumbo. SK was there with me and we partied like nobody’s business. After that night, SK has surrendered her white flag and officially announced her retirement from clubbing.

    dsc05776.jpg

Me and KX tried our best to ensure LiKai is ok & happy during that night. I reckon LK got pretty sick of us asking her wheather she’s ok every 5 minutes. LOL. Sorry babe, we can’t help it because you do look bored at that time. Luckily JT was there to perform for us a few of his bringing sexy back moves that always amaze KX but not us. *ahem*
HanVi, can you perform “MyLove by JT” on my wedding day? I’ve requested a dance floor at the reception venue. Can arr?

At first KX and JT planned to leave around 2am but somehow they decided to stay and bought few more jugs of long island tea. By the time we left the club, JT was totally gone. We were suppose to go to bangsar for supper but during the journey, KX sms-ed saying she had to pull over to let JT chunder. I think I found Chucky#4. I should form a society for all chuckies and will call it ” The order of CHUCK”. hahaha. My position is Recruitment Officer.

Our entertainer of the night -JT!!

I had a really great time. Thank you guys for coming out to party with me although I know some of you have already retired from clubbing.
    *Big Hug*
Elle, It was nice to see you again and thanks for the great night. Those red bulls are wicked…It give you wings. LOL

The GM (General Manager) was back from her Vietnam holiday.
She was suprised to see me wearing my heels today. I told her I had to start wearing heels from now onwards so that I’ll be able to walk gracefully on the W-day. I’m such an idiot when it comes to heels. I must admit I have a fetish on shoes but I’m more towards the collector side.
Daniel was saying she never see me in heels except that very one time I wore a 4 inch heels on Derby day.

Maybe this torturing skill might turn into an addiction which leads to more shoe shopping in future…. hahahaha… I’m so evil

    As You Like It Flowers

    dsc00614.jpg

Thanks to ElleAshley’s recommendation, I’ve booked the flowers for the wedding through AsYouLikeItFlowers in DesaSriHartamas.
Big thanks to SK for taking a day off to teman me to the florist. love you always *hugs*

To be honest I’m not a fan of flowers. Flowers give me an impression that I’ll suffer hay-fever from the pollens. I had a very bad experience 6 years ago when I first came to Melbourne. I didn’t know what was hay fever all about. Come to think of it, I was so stupid during that time for not doing any research in the internet on why hay-fever occurred instead I admitted myself to the Monash hospital assuming that I had a severe viral infection. The feeling was so unbearable;runny nose and massive headache. After seeing couple of doctors, it was confirmed that the symptom that I had was hay fever and it is very common during spring season. Nah beh I went and scared the shit out of myself.

I decided to use roses for my hand bouquet and corsages for DJ, our immediate family and ushers. The roses that I actually wanted was from Kenya. The florist couldn’t promise me if there will be a shipment coming into Malaysia for these rare roses during Oct. It’s all about supply and demand. Therefore I chose another alternative which is local grown roses. The colour of the rose is slightly darker than the Kenya roses. I think it should be alright.

As for the W-car, it will be decorated in cream colour organza ribbons. Keeping it simple and pretty :P

My only worry for now is the flower arrangement along the aisle for bridal march during the reception and also the so called candle bra at the ballroom entrance. I hope WishingTree will not disappoint me with decorating the ballroom with eeky flower arrangements. *fingers crossed >_<*

    MAS sux

Boo hoo… I missed my daily hawker food breakfasts of har mee and fried low shue fun

Back from my 2 ½ week’s holidays. Feeling sad as always whenever I say good bye to my family but I guess after a week or so life will be back to normal.

I’ve got most of the wedding prep’s done. The in-laws liked the venue. *feeling relief*

It took me a while to get to work this morning. The thought of returning to work sitting next to GoldenMouth has already ruined my day.

The plane ride from KL – Melb was really horrible. The check-in officer name Zaiton was a BITCH! How can someone like her is qualified to work as a ground staff with no f*cking manners at all.
ZAITON from MAS check-in officer in KLIA – YOU can just go eat SHIT!

Even though I was half an hour early for check-in and queued for almost an hour, I felt I was treated like a bangla or indon foreigner who just got deported by the country.

OK, why am I pissed with the check-in bitch

She gum gum sei [dare] to allocate my seat in the middle row and right smacked in the middle between 1 couple on my left and on my right is a girl with her aunty… wah lau is she stupid or what. Summore when I asked her nicely she answered me like this

ME: excuse me, Can I have… [Haven’t even finished my sentence]

The bitch: “NO MORE WINDOW AND AISLE SEAT! CANNOT CHOOSE. NO, NO MORE. ONLY MIDDLE SEAT AVAILABLE. NEXT”

ME: HAR?! CIPET LAH U @%*$

See when I departure from Melbourne, the check-in officer was really nice and gave me a window seat because I was traveling alone. There should be a system that allocates the middle row with family, couples or even group tours. Leave the window seats for passengers traveling alone. I won’t be so pissed off if she put me in the middle row but on aisle seat. Where got people like ME, TRAVELLING ALONE sit right smacked in the middle. I have a fear of claustrophobic. I should sue the bitch and ask for medical compensation due to traumatized incident of claustrophobic for 7.5 hours. But I’m not a black hearted person. I give face to her because she’s pregnant. Hump… I believe what goes around comes around. Better becareful bitch!

I decided to BOYCOTT MAS for at least 1 year! No wonder MAS is not making any money at all. They should send their staffs to attend some self improvement classes so that they realise how shit they are when dealing with customers. Remember customers are always RIGHT.

Sigh, back to reality. Need to find a way to get extra money to pay off the outstanding credit card debts that we I happily swiped.

    Pepper Lunch

Good Friday- after 1st half shopping.

Due to the public holiday in Singapore, there were heaps of people out in the city doing their shopping and also most of the food places were packed with families, couples & etc. We managed to find a place to eat around 3pm at PepperLunch.

Interesting food concept from Japan using metal hot plates which are heated to over 200 degrees Fahrenheit by an electromagnetic cooker. PepperLunch uses premium beef meats imported from NZ and Australia.

    pepper-lunch.jpg
I ordered a Tokusen Rib-eye steak with rice.

After lunch, we went on a mission to look for DJ’s suit. He wanted a brown pinstripe suit but somehow we couldn’t find any. I think this season, brown is not the season colour. Tried numerous G2000 stores, Metro, Isetan, Zara & Tangs but there weren’t any. I advised DJ that maybe try an alternative colour instead but I think it’s just hard talking to a rock. He still insist on a brown suit. We even went into Prada to search for the ultimate brown suit but couldn’t find any. Fingers crossed that he will find “the ultimate suit” before the wedding. We have about 24 weeks left.

At times I feel that I am actually a fast and easy shopper than him. My shopping mantra “Believe in love at the first sight” & “Quality not Quantity :D

Good Friday in Singapore – 6th April

Wedding-ism: Ring shopping & blings for tea ceremony.

It was a public holiday in Singapore. There was no traffic when we drove into Singapore. I was happy because I get to go shopping on Good Friday unlike in Melbourne where every shops are closed.

First stop Bvlgari in Takashimaya. We wanted something different from the normal wedding bands that we see in the jewelery shops so we chose the Bzero1 3-band ring. The sales assistant was really helpful and also nice to us. Unlike some lousy store manager in KLCC. humph.

    w-ring.jpg
    Eternity…

Next we went to a local jewelry shop, LeeHwa Jewelery in Wisma Atria to buy jewellery for the tea ceremony. DJ’s mom was cool with me choosing the blings that I like.

DJ asked how come I get so much presents and all he doesn’t have any … Well,I guess wedding is all bout the bride

    Tebrau City,JB

Went to Tebrau City yesterday. The size of this shopping mall is more or less similar to MidValley. It was MAD. Never knew that on a normal Thursday afternoon would have so many people shopping. While walking around the mall, we then later found out that it was Jusco’s presale for members. Didn’t buy much for myself. I started to felt a bit tired after looking at the traffic movement inside the mall. My eyes were really sore. I’m actually really looking forward for our shopping trip in Singapore.

I guess TebrauCity Jusco so far the biggest shopping mall in JB with heaps of people inside un like some malls that are empty most of the time.

I HEART SHOPPING MALLS IN MALAYSIA especially with everything under one roof. From Zara, MNG, TopShop, LeSportSac, work clothes from Padini & Seed and many more. I guess it’s also because of the currency exchange that made the shopping much enjoyable :P

KX, I saw dooodolls in JB. David said it’s not cute…in fact a bit scary hahahaha.
