Hands Up Who Wants A Free Snowboard – part 1

DJ decided to test his patience and fortitude on the Capital 17 1st ever annual “Hands Up Who Wants A Free Snowboard” competition.

    Hands up.jpg

The competition kick off at 7.00pm while I was still having dinner at Megs place. By the time I reach Hardware lane it was about 10.40pm. Imagine la how long DJ has hang on to the board. Instead of distracting his concerntration, I went to EL to look for Yauie and had tea with her after the bar was closed. Bid farewell to DJ about 2am and I think he will hang on the board till the sun rises.

The prize for the last person standing is a complete snowboard gears for this snow season.
Somehow if I go to bed now, I feel damn guilty because my poor hubby is still standing outside in the cold with his left arm on the board, right arm sticky taped with another contestant and plastic wire thingy attached between his shoes.

    Pretz | Larb Flavor

    Warning: MSG attack
I was introduced to this wicked snack to kill the evil three-thirtyistis at work.
Blardy addictive I must say

    Almost there

Finally, I have secured the villa bookings in Bali. If I’ve done enough study on when the high and low season is I won’t be in this stressful stage.
Working on a tight budget was somewhat difficult but luckily, everyone was cool with the result.

Next is to book our hotel accommodation at Legian and a Kuta Cowboy for KX. ;)

The agent that I have booked the villa with gives me an impression of a dodgy villa agent. Somehow, their formal documents are typed out in word format and not even pdf-ing the blardy form.
To take extra precaution, I have informed the bank about this agent. The bank will be watching over my back if any dodgy foreign transaction is going on before I even step my foot into Bali.
Again, since I’ve paid a $5 monthly fee to the bank, why not make full use of the facilities huh? I hate being ripped off by unnecessary fees therefore; I am now fully utilizing on things/services that I had paid with my hard earn money.

Can someone tell me why petrol prices are still lower than diesel even though petrol price has increase tremendously?

Hang over cure & a lazy left eye

Best cure for hang over is to feed myself with a good serve of M’sian Indian food on a Sat morning.

3 dishes + rice @ Rich Maha, Vermont South. Absolutely delicious :)

Finally, I have a good reason to have Indian food at Vermont South because I have found a reliable optometrist. Thanks Eve ;)

After having my eyes examine, I realized I am totally clueless on how blind I am. I always knew that I had a very week left eye but I didn’t know that it actually stopped registering infos by the age of 7!!
I asked Jac if I would go blind as I get older and she said no. phew. Even laser surgery will not improve my left eye vision.
The conclusion is my left eye decided to stop going to school after it reaches 7 years old…tsk tsk tsk…lazy eye!

Therefore after my eye check up, I decided to claim few pairs of colored contact lenses since I have been paying for private health cover for 3 years and did not even once claim any optical expenses at all. IT’s time for me to get back at least something.

    Daniel’s Masquerade Ball birthday bash

    Baroq house.jpg

Baroq House rocks. Love the friday crowd and the music was awesome. Maybe it’s because I haven’t been out partying for a very long time. I lost count on how many glasses of champagne I’ve consumed. No wonder I woke up with a hangover.

    Please don’t hate me

I have told KX the bad news that I will not be able to attend her destination wedding in Sabah. So happen, DJ & I had planned our postponed Japan 08 trip about the same time as KX’s wedding. Sigh…

Anyway I am so looking forward for her 24 hours Hen’s celebration in Bali!! Yes, the girls are coming to Bali to meet up with us. I am so excited. Happy.gif

KX said I owe her a very big present for not able to attend her wedding. She requested me to bring a pole to Bali and perform pole dancing in front of her. hmm…sounds very lesbo right… shy (6).gif
Anyway, I suggested an even better idea; how about hang myself on the pole like a flag? LOL

    Dear KX,
I am very grateful to have you as my good friend. Thanks for nominating me to be one of your bridesmaids; be in charge to design the bridesmaid dress and appointed me to give a speech in front of 80 guests on your wedding day. So sorry that I have let you down.

    Wishing you all the best.
    Love always.

    Dii’s 60th birthday

    I miss home :(

I planned this birthday surprise for my dad since early January and none of the family members from Malaysia knew that I was actually going back.

I knew that mii was pretty disappointed when I first told her that I could not make it to dii’s birthday. Sorry I lied. Hihihi… Anyway mii and dii were pretty shocked and surprised when they saw me. Mii literately screamed like she saw her favorite idol :P

Wednesday night is always fun in KL

I got asked for my id (AGAIN) and the security did not even check LK & KX’s!! Every time I go to a bar in KL, I will always be the one being asked for proof of age.

One year ago when I was in Malaysia having lunch with MrsP at Uncle Chili’s, we ordered 2 bottles of beer and got asked for id to verify our age. Oh lord. The both of us looked at each other and burst into laughter. Anyway, I take it as a compliment

ME & the dooodolls masters. Aren’t they cute…hur hur hur

After a long night of drinking… we adjourned to Petaling Street (China Town) for some siew yok mee (roast pork noodle), fei kai (steam fatty chicken) & the famaous claypot low shue fun (rice drop noodle)
No comment on the roast pork noodle but the chicken was really tender and juicy… I was disappointed with the claypot low shue fun. LL reckons it taste better if you are very drunk… No wonder! I was so damn sober after downing 4 bottles of beer.

I have not driven home at 4am in the morning for sooo long. Surprisingly I drove within the speed limit.

Next time when I go back I would like to go somewhere new to hangout oredi…

    Fish Spa

At last, I finally get to try out the all so famous; everyone is talking about in town – FISH SPA.
LK and I went to try out this new fish spa in Bangsar – Garra Rufa Fish Therapy

    DSC01272.jpg

We were required to wash our feet thoroughly before entering the pond area as any excess dirt or body lotion will harm the fishes.

    DSC01247.jpg
This is the main pond where all the hungry tiny fishes awaits for us to soak our tired feet.

    DSC01264.jpg
    nibble nibble…yumm yumm…

    DSC01269.jpg

I personally recommend the 30 minutes session. Surprisingly our skin did not turn wrinkly after soaking for so long. It was indeed a very good feet treatment after a long day of shopping. Me likey

p/s: My advice is whenever you go for a fish spa; always check on the size of the fishes, as BIG fishes can be very ticklish.
