We have started Z on solids on Christmas day and she seems to be liking it. DJ is in charge of Z’s menu. So far we have fed her vegetable congee, pear and carrot (purée form). I have also started the weaning process. Not sure how Z felt but it was kind sad for me… 
Z has been learning on how to sit up on her own but sometimes she will fall back and hit her head on the floor. Ouch! However she can sit very well on her high chair which is a new development. Meaning now we can dine out more without pushing our pram into the restaurants.
I have been thinking alot lately and I really wish I could go back to work once Z turns 1 but financially we cannot afford it therefore I’ll have to look for work once Z gets a spot in childcare. She is getting very cute everyday especially when she mumbles “mumm mummmm mummm”
