I feel bad that I had leave DJ home alone on his birthday because I will be flying out tonight to Hong Kong for work.
To make it up, I promise DJ that I’ll hunt down the best scotch that I can find in HK airport duty free

Vo & Maria’s tied the knot on Anzac Day. I must admit it was the best wedding I’ve ever been to. We had so much fun. Maria was so beautiful in her dress.

The reception dinner was at Red Spice Road. The food was extremely delicious. First time I had fusion asian cuisine at a wedding. On top of that we had unlimited cocktails & mocktails served through out the whole night. How good is that

Each of us received a pot of cactus plant as bonbonniere. Speaking of that, I think I forgotten again to water the cactus. Oppss.

Yauie open her bar for us even though there was a curfew on Anzac day for the after party. DJ and I stayed for 2 hours and had to snuck out cause my feet were so sore from wearing my new pair of heels for more than 10 hours. When we arrived home, I then found out that I had a huge ass blister under my feet. Ouch. The cause of it was from the party heels gel >.<

Despite the blister, I had a wonderful time and I must say this wedding was sure unforgettable because DJ volunteered to entertain the guest with his silly dances -_-

This is by far the best hens’ night I have been to. There was so much food to eat (me likey) and we had a topless waiter to make us erm… not very nice mix drinks but it was all good.

After dinner, we were surprised with a very peculiar entertainment. I was praying very hard for no ugly old stripers but instead we got a PENIS puppeteer. Aikkkssss…

Everyone gawk when the puppeteer showed us his “puppet”. It was hilarious to watch him perform all kind of shapes with his “real” puppet … I could not stop laughing and at the same time felt the pain for him when he was bending and twisting the puppet like it was some sort of bendable toy. Ouch ouch ouch.

Overal , it was an awesome night chillin’ out with the girls. I can’t wait to see the beautiful bride on the wedding day. I’ll make sure I pack heaps of Kleenex tissues.

The hens party started off at Prana spa, Seminyak. After our pampering session, we went back to our villas to get ready for dinner.

KX suggested Uluwatu to watch the sunset and dinner at Blue Point Bay . None of us did our research and we didn’t knew that Uluwatu was actually a fair bit of distance from where we stayed. Oppss…lol. We ended up watching the sunset in the taxi because it was peak hour.

When we finally made it to Blue Point Bay after an hour and everyone was hungry; to our disappointment we were told there was “a technical problem with the kitchen” so no Balinese food was available to order >.< So we decided to have our dinner at this dainty warung in the middle of no where in Uluwatu. There was a moment of silent when the food came.

After dinner, we wanted to checked out Double Six Club @ Seminyak which has a bungee tower but found that the opening hour is from midnight till sunrise. We couldn’t be bothered to wait and decided to have drinks at Syndicate instead.

Despite the minor hiccups , it was a really great night out with the girls in a foreign country. I really had a wonderful time and missing every one of them very much after they left.

Dear KX,
I hope you have enjoyed your hens’ night in Bali. The road trip to Uluwatu was awesome. The taksi driver was damn clueless than we were.

Again, for Rp2000 I’ll love you long long time. Muaksss.

Funny tho, DJ proposed after we came back from our wedding in Malaysia. Silly boy.

It is always fun to have these “you-are-so-mean-to-me” moments with you.

Tonight we went over to DL’s pad to celebrate Merdeka Day. DJ’s fried vermicelli dish was a winner… Well he actually made sure everyone have a taste of it…hihihi…. Anyway since DJ was very confident about my driving, he drank like there is no tomorrow and he fell asleep during the journey home. I even parked the car like what DJ usually does – reverse parking. It actually took me 10 minutes to get the car straight but I’m sure eventually I’ll improve after a few practices.

We are going to watch the footy match tomorrow at Telstra Dome – St Kilda vs Essendon. I hope I’ll feel better by tomorrow.

Happy 51st Merdeka Day Malaysia

An eventful day of the year. We celebrated Katsudon’s 21st birthday celebration “again” at Ibuki ; Tristan and Olivia tied the knot (Congratulations!!) and last but not least, the opening ceremony of 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.

Everyone was screaming for FOOD after finishing 2 bottles of wine, 8 bottles of Korean plum wine & 2 bottles of beksoju shared among 7 lovely ladies at FM karaoke. We then adjourned to good ol’ Ling Nam for supper to fill our hungry tummy.

Girls night out are always fun!

This year we decided to celebrate Christmas a lil bit earlier than usual at No.3. BIG thank you to BurtonCyborg for offering his lovely home for us to crash use for this event.

I prepared salmon au vol vents for starters and decanted chocolate fudge coated in chocolate powder for dessert (replacement for the failed mutated cookies >.<). DJ prepared 4 dishes for the night and I helped out with the bread and butter pudding by spreading the butter on the bread . I was only given a very easy task to do because DJ doesn't really trust me when it comes to cooking.

Just before kris kringle session, we experienced a snowing moment at Burton Cyborg’s house. He bought a faux snow making machine that produces foam. With the cold weather, we almost thought it was snowing in Melbourne. So unreal.

At about 11pm, I so called passed out due to excessive food intake. I was so stuffed like a roast turkey… hahahah

Me: “excuse me, can I please have another serve of kimchi?”
Korean waiter: “erm.. *pointing at the bowl of kimchi* but…”
Me: “Don’t worry by the time you come back this will be finished. Thanks ”

Dinner catch up with the usual suspects are always fun.
