Bastille Day is the French national holiday, celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, it is called “Fête Nationale” (“National Holiday”). It commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on
the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789; the storming of the Bastille was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern French “nation”, and of the reconciliation of
all the French inside the constitutional monarchy which preceded the First Republic, during the French Revolution.
Chefs: DJ & KatsuDon
Kitchen hand: MonkeyKing, Junie & Hjien
Cheese Monger: Iriya
Pastry Chef: BurtonCyborg but end up Yauie & Hjien cooking the the crepes.
DJ and I designed this tacky menu

There was a last minute change on the menu. BC was suppose to make Crème brûlée for us but he realised that it was too much work involved. Therefore we ended having Crêpe Suzette which was delicious.
As usual, there were heaps of wine and champagne consumed on that night not forgetting the 18L of Go-shu sake brought by Eve.

Next dinner party: Merdeka Day.

I’m still feeling very tired after SD. Maybe it’s the age factor.
It’s been awhile since I last partied for 10 hours straight. Sorry for a back dated post.
I guess the photos are pretty self-explanatory.

Lovely Lynn & I went for the ferris wheel ride. I was so excited like a 5 year old kid…hahaha
According to TheAge, there were 25,000 people in SD. Read more about it here.

I didn’t stay till the end but on my way walking out of the venue, Bob Sinclair played his famous track “World,Hold on”… tiuz…
Neways… I had a really great time and it would be better if DJ was there.

Today’s crappy weather is good to sleep in.
We were at MonkeyKing & KatsuDon’s house yesterday night to present Iriya’s 3 months old belated burfday present.
Yes the photo book arrived on time. Iriya was questioning anxiously about the book. He wanted to make a photo book as well but I told him to have a look at my so called photo book first [he didn't know it was a suprised belated burfday present]
The book contains photos of Iriya and sceneries taken in NZ.
I use the template from iphoto. The whole process was very easy- click and drag. After finalizing the lay out, all I need to do it save it in pdf.format and send to Pixart via email attachment. I’m very pleased with the final product.

Here I present Whiter Pastures coffee table photobook

Photobook cover: Woven twill fabric
Like the idea of having a plastic cover over the title page incase someone spill coffee over it and still be able to wipe it off.

Made in Malaysia
Am happy with the print quality and the weight of the paper used on the book. We might consider using Pixart for our W photos.
But wait, I received another parcel on the same day…
KX made a photobook for me & DJ from Photomax.

Photobook cover: Leather
Everyone was asking whether it was our W book… of cuz no la.

Made in USA
The paper used in this book is slightly thinner than Pixart.
Print quality is about the same. It also depends on the photo resolution. Image size should be above 1mb in order to get good quality prints.
My first photo book.
Thanks KX.

Champagne for breakfast? Not really a good idea but what the heck. It’s Derby Day.
Damo & Chele came to our place at 9-ish to pick us up and went to Daniel’s place for ‘breakfast”. Everyone looked very pretty & handsome [ahem].

I’ve got free tickets to the races from work so DJ & I went to the member’s area- TheRails. Free food and flows of alcohols. Ahhh…Lovely.
By the time we reached the entrance of the racecourse my whole feet was so sore due to a good 2km walking from Daniel’s place. Am glad that there were cushions for us to sit at the member’s area. I sat for good few hours eating and drinking non-stop.

Later when my feet started to feel much better we went to look for TheGang. We were trying to look for the “Yellow Flags” which Damo gave us as a land mark but hey there were 20+ yellow flags. Guess what we encountered?
A BITCH FIGHT
Yes, I had a bitch fight with a cheebye kia [asian bitch]. KNN! I hope this cheebye bitch passed-out and have her bitch face land on a bed of horse dung. Friends & family who knows me well;knows that I’m not a fighter but hey, this cheebye kia pour champagne on my whole back. Obviously I was furious and push her down hard. Then cheebye kia push me back and I landed on the ground.DJ came to the rescue like a kung fu fighter but I shouted, STOP! PLEASE DO NOT STEP ON MY DRESS cuz from nowhere this bogan[white ferel aussie bitch] came and interfere with our drama and stepped on my dress. Seriously it’s none of her business but she took the opportunity to be racist on us. DJ got a scratch at his neck from the bogan.
We are not farel but we encountered with one. No it’s TWO!
Neweys, caught up with TheGang and they made me drink more to cool me down. Thanks guys. Lurve you all to the max *Mwahhhh*

After all this, we will go back again next year. It was a very good day minus the bitch fight part tho. Arrrgghh still can’t believe it.

My first friday back in Melbourne after my trip.
Finished work early [5.20pm is consider early for me] and quickly rushed home to get ready for after work drinks. I’m so glad it’s friday!
We stopped by lord of the fries for some fries before heading to Queenstreet to catch up with the gang.

something to keep you entertain while waiting for the fries
Yauie suggested this new bar at Queen St- Lanai Bar.
As what was planned earlier, tonight’s agenda is a QUIET catch up and dinner.Obviously the night was no where near as planned. We had 7 bottles of bubbly for 8 people.

By 11pm everyone FINALLY remembered to EAT. We had our dinper [dinner+supper] at Chillipadi, MelbCentral.

AUD6 Nasi Lemak with banana leaf- priceless…
Will update about Fifteen & Tu’s birthday soon.

Yes I’m back to reality. Everything at work seems to be not in place and I am just so stoned lost. I’m staring at my monitor but no work has been completed since 9am. I need to go to bed…
Overall the whole trip was awesome.
Will write soon.
